What is 304H Stainless Steel?

AISI 304H stainless steel (UNS S30409) is a high-carbon modification of 304SS , developed to deliver enhanced strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures.

The “H” in 304H stands for “High Carbon” (0.04–0.10%), which improves its high-temperature performance and tensile strength. It maintains excellent oxidation resistance, weldability, and corrosion resistance similar to 304 and 304L.
